I’ve always enjoyed drawing flowers, arabesques, and botanical elements, ever since I was a child and as a teenager, I would fill the blank spaces in my notebooks with flowers…
Today, my work aims to help fill not only shelf space, but also the meaning of your business, brand, company and projects.
My name is Martina Tessaro, but my pseudomym as and graphic designer and botanical ilustrator is Áster.
It is in botanical illustration that, in expressing myself, I find what you are looking for; the movement of branches, flowers, and fruits enchants me, and that is what drives my work, and my art.
I usually work with tradicional materials, such as acrylic paint, sometimes watercolor, colored pencils, and also digital media.
I currently live in the Serra Gaúcha, region of Brazil. We have a strong culture of cultivating many flowers in our gardens, and even roses in vineyards. The richness of the flora and fauna here is incredible, and the landscapes are breathtaking. That’s where I get inspired 😉
I also am a song addicted and anxious for an adventure. Will always be a pleasure talk about projects and ideas!
